CSIR-CIMFR Recruitment 2023: Project Assistants & Project Associate-I
CSIR-CIMFR has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Project Assistants & Project Associate-I on purely temporary positions under different time-bound projects. The interviews for these positions have been scheduled from 16th to 25th May, 2023 at the CSIR-CIMFR Ranchi Research Center, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Here are some important details and terms and conditions for the recruitment:
Age Limit:
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 50 years for Project Assistant
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years for Project Associate-I & II
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Essential qualification with minimum 65% marks
Salary:
- 25,000 for Project Associate 1 (Rs. 31,000/- for GATE or CSIR-UGC NET Qualified Candidates with Validity)
- 20,000 for project assistant

Note: There are also 12 more positions available for Diploma and B.Tech in Computer Science, Mining, and Mechanical Engineering.
Application Process: Candidates must read the advertisement carefully and fill up the hard copy of the application in the prescribed form. Candidates are also required to carry the conversion formula of CGPA/DGPA/OGPA into the percentage of their respective University/Institution. Until they establish their eligibility as per the requirement of the advertisement, they will not be allowed to appear in Walk-in-Interview.
Duration of Engagement: Selected Candidate(s) will be engaged for the period of 6 Months or One year initially or up to the completion of the project period, whichever may be earlier. The total engagement duration should not exceed more than 05 years.
Deputation: Selected Candidates may be deputed at Institute’s premises or at the Project Work Site as per the need of the project work. After joining the selected candidate(s), accommodation facility will be made available, or otherwise House Rent Allowance will be payable as decided by the concerned committee.
